Nokia holds road show to introduce new phones to Ghanaian public

Nokia last week, organised a massive road show through the principal streets of  three cities in Ghana, to introduce directly to the public, its new range of phones.
The event, which began in Accra the country’s capital, moved to Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital and ended at Takoradi the Western Regional capital, also aimed to educate the public on the Nokia C2-03 touch and type and the N1-01, which were recently introduced on to the Ghanaian market.
The road show was packed with fun and excitement, with over 10 people winning free Nokia dual SIM phones and other Nokia souvenirs at the end of each road show in each region.
It attracted over 1,000 people in each town, with some of the people interviewed expressing their joy at Nokia giving them a range of quality dual SIM phones to choose from.
Nokia earlier in July this year, also launched the C2-00 and X1-01, both Dual-SIM phones in Ghana.
In his remarks during the event, David Anku, Marketing Manager for Nokia Ghana, said, “it is an exciting time for Ghana and Nokia as a whole with the introduction of Nokia’s first dual SIM phone globally and there is the need to celebrate it.”
“The relationship Nokia has with the public is identified as one of the most important elements to improving on its services and the introduction of the dual SIM phone is in direct response to the request by our customers,” he added. 
He intimated Nokia’s commitment to provide best and quality services, saying “we are happy that we have achieved that through our new dual SIM phone.”
